Over our almost 50-year history of providing organ transplantation, the Miami Transplant Institute (MTI) has grown into the nation’s most comprehensive transplant center, performing all solid organ transplants in both adults and children. We have also grown into one of the largest, performing more than 650 transplants last year, the second-largest volume in the United States. No other center in the Southeastern US performs the same breadth or volume. As a result, patients from all over the US and indeed the world travel to MTI for transplant care.
